Vučemilović, Batošić, and Bauk houses

On the left is the old Vučemilović house.

The large house in the middle was built by Marko Batošić, d. 1812, who came from Makarska at the begining of the 19th century.
He married Francesca Colombani. They had no children. He left the house to "Batošisć estate" which was sponsoring poor grooms.
The estate was nullified by the communist rule after the WW II. It is now owned by Roso family, housing a popular "Biljar" caffe at the entrance floor.

On the right is the old Bauk house, dating from the first half of 18th century. The Bauk's are one of the oldest Imotski families. They used to be the ony Christian family during Turkish occupation in Imotski.

Vučemilović, Batošić, i Bauk kuće
