So called "White House" which was built in the late 1970-ies for the needs of
Comitet of Imotski Socialist Union, had also offices of "Imotska Krajina"
newspaper and few other cultural organizations. Radio Imotski is housed there these days.
The underground floor has a space for cultural happenings that is used to make
various cultural hapening like performances, exhibitions, and dances.
After the WW II it served as a town cinema. Above it was concrete surface were there was a small open market during the day.
Before the WW II is used to be the center of cultural and public life. The place was owned by Truccolo brothers.
Further on the right is the Ciciljani house. It was built by Mirilović Šoić noblemen who came to Imotski in 1718 from Mostar. Mate Šoić was one of the Imotski battle sponsors when Imotski was freed from the Turks in 1717. he became the first Imotski colonel.
Ciciljani, a newcommer from Trogir, bought the house in the second half of 18th century.
The Ciciljani, former Mirilović Šoić house was occupied by well known outlaw Stanko Sočivica in between 1745 and 1754, according to Ante Ujević and Ivan Lovrić.
"Bijela kuća" i Ciciljani kuća
Takozvana "Bijela Kuća" je izgradjena u kasnim 1970-im godinama za potrebe Komiteta Imotskog Socijalističkog Saveza i sličnih organizacija. Pravi je primjer socijalištičke arhitekture, iako se je ralativno dobro uklopila izmedju dvije susjedne kuće. Tu su i kancelarije, dugo godina jedinih imotskih novina "Imotska Krajina". Ovih dana je tu i Radio Imotski.
Ispod gladnog kata je prostor za kulturna zbivanja, gdje se održavaju kulturne izložbe, predstave i plesovi.
Prije drugoga svjetskoga rata, a neko vrijeme i poslije je prostorija služila kao gradsko kino. Poviš je tada bila betonska ploča, gdje je bila improvizirana tržnica.
To je sve bilo u vlasništvu Truccolo braće.
Kuća desno je bila vlasništvo plemenitaša Mirilović Šoić koji su doselili u Imotski iz Mostara godinu nakon oslobodjenja Imotskoga od Turaka 1717-e. Mate Šoić, knez i bogati trgovac iz Mostara, jedan od sponzora oslobodjenja je postao prvi kolonel Imotskoga.
Ciciljani, pridošlica iz Trogira, je kupio tu kuću krajem 18-og stoljeća.
Kuća je po Anti Ujeviću i Ivanu Lovriću bila dom poznatog hajduka Stanka Sočivice zmedju 1745 i 1754.
