The school was bult after the WW II. It was a primary school till 1969 when the new primary school was build near the St. Francis church and old High School. It is empty these days.
Further up is the Andrija Laurić Orphanage building. It was inherited by nuns from Maribor, who have moved from there to the Benzon building on Djirada. For a long time there was no houses between the Truccolo and this building.
Laurić osnovna škola
Škola je bila izgradjena nakon drugoga svjetskoga rata. Služila je do 1969-te kada je napravljena nova osnovna škola blizu crkve Svetoga Frane i stare imotske Gimnazije. Zjapi prazna zadnjih nekoliko godina (sada je ljeto 2005-te).
Dalje na istoj strani je Andrija Laurić sirotište. Nasljedile su ga časne sestre iz Maribora, koje su se preselile u Benzon zgradu na Djiradi. Dugo vremena nije bilo nijedne kuće izmedju Truccolo i ove zgrade.
