St Francis Church Objects

Pictures for this web page were taken in the summer of 2006. Writing was based on various articles from "Imotska krajina" written by friar Vjeko Vrčić, and also from the book "Imotski of my youth" by late Professor Mladen Mostarčić. For those who don't know, Professor Mostarčić was a great teacher and inspiration for many of us who went through Imotski classical gymnasium. He passed away few months ago and will be missed by thousands of his students all over the world. Friar Vjeko Vrčić, Imotski's Franciscan, great local historian, is still very active in writing Imotski history. He is living at the Franciscan covenant in Imotski.
